Without breaks... Public squat toilets for women in China shock tourists

Taiwanese actress Jin Aoi shocked her fans when she re-shared a photo on her Instagram account showing a public toilet for women in Beijing with four squat chairs in a row.

The picture shows a very narrow public bathroom, with four squat toilets in one row, without a partition separating them, and without a water tap or toilet paper.

A small sitting toilet can be seen in the back, indicating that it is intended for people with disabilities.

"Staying with a friend in the women's bathroom can be a bit awkward, but I'm already used to it," the actress commented on the post.

"I can survive in Beijing," she added.
