23-year-old Wang Yuqian and Xu Menghan are both students majoring in medical laboratory technology in Sanquan College, Xinxiang Medical College, Henan Province.

As interns, the internship unit generally does not ask Wang Yuqian and Xu Menghan to go to the front line of the fight against the epidemic, but they choose to sign up on their own initiative.

"In the past 100 days, we have experienced the cold in Harbin and the dryness in Lanzhou together, and experienced the high intensity of working 16 hours a day, from detecting 'Xiaobai' to being a proficient detective." More importantly, in the process of fighting the epidemic in various places, Wang Yuqian felt the side of her boyfriend.

In late September 2021, the couple had planned to take a good rest.
But before the National Day holiday, Harbin suffered a new round of epidemic.
After learning about the urgent need for inspectors, the two gave up rest and chose to continue to sign up.
At that time, after the two people in light clothes rushed to Harbin, they found that Harbin was unusually cold at the end of September.
Xu Menghan gave Wang Yuqian the only pair of wool pants on her body, and she wore single pants every day.
Later, the two went to Lanzhou to fight the epidemic. Because they were not adapted to the local climate, Wang Yuqian's skin was dry and cracked.
With local stores closed and express delivery out of service, buying skin care lotion has become a luxury.
"It's because I didn't think thoroughly enough." Xu Menghan blamed herself.
After going to Yan'an to fight the epidemic, he helped his girlfriend prepare skin care lotion early.
During the time of fighting the epidemic in four provinces and many places, the girlfriend Wang Yuqian in Xu Menghan's eyes was "desperately third mother".
