In response to the rapid spread of the new coronavirus, Hokkaido plans to hold a meeting of the countermeasures headquarters on the afternoon of the 21st and request the national government to apply priority measures such as prevention of spread.

During the period of priority measures, we are making adjustments to request restaurants throughout Hokkaido to shorten their business hours.

In response to the rapid spread of infection, Hokkaido will raise the level of countermeasures to "2" at the countermeasures headquarters meeting on the 21st, and will request the national government to apply priority measures such as prevention of spread.

The target area of the priority measures is the entire area of Hokkaido, and once the application is decided, we are adjusting to request restaurants to shorten the business hours during the period.

Stores that have a third-party certification of Michi will serve sake until 8 pm and open until 9 pm, or will not serve sake all day and will open until 8 pm. We are considering making it a mechanism that can be selected, and requesting that stores that have not been certified do not serve alcohol and open until 8 pm.

The policy is to provide support to stores that respond to requests, depending on whether or not alcohol is provided.

On the other hand, we are making adjustments to request the residents to refrain from going out to crowded places and to refrain from moving between unnecessarily urgent prefectures as much as possible.

The road will be requested to the national government as soon as it is decided at the countermeasures headquarters meeting, and the application is expected to be decided in the first half of next week.
