Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Hagita held online meetings with representatives of three economic organizations such as Keidanren, the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan, and 18 organizations such as the Japan Gas Association.



In this, Minister Hagiuda said, "Even if the infection continues to spread, we must firmly maintain stable national life and economic activities," even if many employees become infected or become close contacts. , Requested strengthening of measures so that the business can be continued.

In response, Keidanren Chairman Tokura said, "It is important to maintain socio-economic activities while preventing infection explosions, and BCP should be practiced, such as narrowing down businesses and utilizing telework."



At this meeting, Minister Hagiuda requested each company to formulate and publish a BCP.
