As of 8:00 pm on the 21st, the application was requested to eight prefectures: Hokkaido, Fukushima, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Shizuoka, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo.
In addition, Nagano Prefecture will soon hold a meeting of experts to make a formal request, and Fukuoka Prefecture, Saga Prefecture, and Oita Prefecture will work together to request the application at the beginning of the week.
The government plans to continue to analyze the infection status and bed usage rate in each region, promptly consider if there is a request for application, and make a decision in the first half of next week.
