In Sudan, a second day of civil disobedience paralyzed Khartoum today following police violence which led to the death of at least seven people and left dozens injured on Monday.

Nigeria secures first place in the group and quietly advances to the round of 16 after its victory against Guinea-Bissau (0-2). 

Stadiums were full for the competition's opener in Cameroon, but interest has since waned somewhat.

In question, the health protocols put in place considered too restrictive and the price of tickets, dissuasive for some.

Faced with this lack of attendance, the Cameroonian government is stepping up initiatives to encourage supporters to go to the stands.
