The Ceneca (National Center for Agricultural Exhibitions and Competitions), owner of the International Agricultural Show (SIA), and Comexposium, its organizer, are working with the various stakeholders "to prepare this edition which will not be like the others” due to the health context linked to Covid-19, according to a press release.

This 58th edition “will be that of reunion, but also of collective responsibility, the success of the event based on its ability to offer a moment of meeting and sharing, in compliance with health instructions”.

“To date, the main axes in the course of work are as follows: wearing a mask and compulsory vaccination pass, optimized ventilation of the pavilions, and organization of the conditions necessary for consumption and tastings according to the current regulations in force”, they specify. .

Very strict monitoring will be put in place “with Covid referents by area of the Show and a specific health unit”.

The meteoric rise in contamination had left uncertainty over the holding of this major annual meeting, the 2020 edition of which had been shortened by one day due to the epidemic and could not be held in 2021.

This annual high mass, popular with children coming to discover calves, cows and pigs, is also popular with politicians, especially in this election year and when France, the first beneficiary of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) has just taken the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union.
