Hu Riguang, the foreman of the remediation team of the Shenzhen EMU Operation Institute, said that the disinfection team is composed of young ground mechanics, and every night, every inbound EMU will be fully disinfected to ensure the safe travel of Spring Festival passengers.
That night, they will kill 22 EMU trains, including 16-car long trains and 8-car short trains. About 14 to 27 trains will be killed every night.
This means that from 19:00 that day to 7:00 a.m. the next morning, the operators have to carry out the disinfection work non-stop.
Hu Riguang, the foreman of the rectification team, said that after entering the Spring Festival, the traffic flow and workload will increase, and the workload of the disinfection team will soon reach more than 30 EMU trains a night, and the task is very heavy.
As of January 16, the Shenzhen EMU has disinfected 314 standard groups of EMU trains this year.
