Microsoft announced that it is buying Activision Blizzard for $95 per share.

The total amount of the transaction will be $68.7 billion. The transaction is expected to close in fiscal year 2023.

Microsoft says it will become the world's third-largest gaming company after Tencent and Sony after the deal closes. 

Activision Blizzard is one of the leading manufacturers in the video game market.

The company's hit games include World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Diablo and Guitar Hero.
