Gunma Prefecture announced on the 18th that it was confirmed that 375 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
This is the highest number ever, surpassing the highest number of infected people per day, 367 on August 28, last year.
Infection was confirmed in 19,831 people in the prefecture, of which 182 died.
