Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 18th that it was confirmed that 1338 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of infected people in the prefecture per day exceeded 1290 on the 16th, setting a new record high.
The breakdown is 738 in Fukuoka City, 220 in Kitakyushu City, and 47 in Kurume City.
A total of 82,482 people have been confirmed infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
