Aichi Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that 2145 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of infected people announced in a day exceeds 2000, which was the highest number ever since August 27, last year, and it is the second highest number of confirmed infections in a day.
A total of 117,842 people have been confirmed to be infected in Aichi Prefecture.
