  Bosten Lake has a water area of ​​1,646 square kilometers and is rich in aquatic resources.

There are 32 species of fish such as grass carp and silver carp in the lake, with an annual output of about 4,000 tons. It is one of the largest fishery production bases in Xinjiang.
