Sharon Stone joins the cast of 'The Flight Attendant'

Sharon Stone will be in the cast of the second season of

.

According to

, the

star will play a recurring character on the HBO Max series, namely the mother of Cassie Bowden, the main character played by Kaley Cuoco.

This second season will also see the return of a good part of the cast including Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez while Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez and JJ Soria will be part of the new faces.

In the wrong place at the wrong time

In the first season of

, we discover the character of Cassie Bowden, an alcoholic flight attendant who, after partying with a wealthy passenger all night, finds him dead in his bed the next day.

She then sets out to solve this murder in order to prove her innocence and finds herself involved in a dark story mixing the world of tech and high finance.

For her part, Sharon Stone will play a mother disillusioned and exhausted by the alcoholic escapades of a daughter she no longer wants to hear about.
