An app that allows you to see the former appearance of the building related to Hojo Yoshitoki, the main character of NHK's taiga drama "The 13 Lords of the Kamakuraden", has been released.

In Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, the tomb "Hokkado" of Hojo Yoshitoki was once built, but now the building has disappeared and the remains of pillars are left.



The city and Shonan Institute of Technology have developed an app that can be viewed on smartphones by reproducing the former appearance of Hokkado with CG using AR = augmented reality technology.

By reading the QR code written on the signboard of the ruins, you can see the CG image of Hokkado, and by walking around with the camera facing the ruins, you can see the building from various angles and see the inside. I can.



A woman using the app said, "I was surprised to see the building in front of me. I'm glad I was able to come."



Daiki Iida, a student at the Shonan Institute of Technology graduate school who developed the app, said, "I want you to get an idea of ​​the Hokkado at that time and enjoy the fact that there used to be such a building."
