Rescue workers in the flood accident of the Ganzi Hydropower Station: the last two bodies of the missing persons were found

  At about 13:40 on January 12, the No. 3 unit of the Xiaojinchuanhe Guanzhou Power Plant in Zhanggu Town, Danba County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, had a water leakage accident due to the burst valve of the plug, causing 11 people in the plant to be trapped.

  At around 15:00 on January 14, The Paper learned from a rescuer at the scene that the last two missing persons had been found and confirmed dead.

At present, 9 of the 11 trapped persons in the accident were unfortunately killed, and the other 2 were rescued successfully.

  According to a CCTV report on January 13, after the accident, the leaders of the State Council, the province and the prefecture immediately issued instructions. Sichuan Province, Ganzi Prefecture and Danba County jointly established the "1.12" Guanzhou Hydropower Station Emergency Response Frontline Headquarters. There are 10 teams under comprehensive coordination, emergency rescue, aftermath, and accident investigation. As of 15:30 on January 13, the province, state, and county have dispatched rescue forces, and have organized emergency response, public security, fire protection, medical and health, water conservancy, electricity 535 people including communications, 29 rescue vehicles, 8 excavators, and 40 water pumps to carry out rescue work with all-out efforts.

At present, 2 of the 11 trapped people have been rescued, and their lives are not in danger. 7 people have been confirmed to be killed, and 2 others have lost contact.
