Referring the papers of the accused of killing his daughter’s fiancé in Rehab to the Mufti

The Cairo Criminal Court, held in the Fifth Settlement, decided to refer the papers of the accused in the murder of the young Al-Rehab youth to the Grand Mufti, and to postpone the sentencing of the remaining defendants to the next April 14 session.

The details of the case go back to 2018, when the accused of killing a young man in Rehab were arrested, and the girl’s father asked his daughter to lure the young man to the house, claiming to remove the misunderstanding between him and her father, and to pledge to him that her father would implement all his requests, and as soon as the young man was convinced of her talk, he told his brother that he would go to his fiancée’s house And there the heinous crime happened.

The date of the meeting was on the day of the Eid al-Adha stand, and since then the young man has disappeared and no news of him and his phone stopped answering until it was completely turned off, and by asking his fiancée, she denied going to her, and her father and mother also denied visiting their daughter’s fiancé at home.

The young man’s family submitted a report to the security services, which made extensive efforts to search for him, until they found his body buried underground in the kitchen of an apartment rented by the girl’s father in the Al-Rehab area.

Details of what happened since the young man left his house to meet his fiancée until his body was found, revealed by the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior, where it said in an official statement that after it was informed to the Shorouk Police Department of the young man’s absence, after he left his house to visit his fiancée called Habiba, the security services formed a team Research and develop a plan to reveal the circumstances.

The Egyptian Interior added that it was found that behind the absence of the young man, Ashraf, 52, a former chemist, is required to be executed in two cases, one of which is drugs, in which he is sentenced to life imprisonment, and a case of forgery in which he is sentenced to 15 years in prison, and is being held in pretrial detention pending another forgery case. His daughter Habiba, 20, is a student and resident of the same address.

The ministry stated that after confronting the first accused with what came in the investigations, he supported her, and admitted that due to the knowledge of his daughter’s fiancé that he had assumed different names to evade security prosecution in order to enforce the judgments issued against him, and because of what he said of the murdered young man’s assault on his daughter, the second accused, by beating her and threatening to report her father, He planned to get rid of him, as he rented an apartment in a real estate in Rehab, prepared a deep hole in the kitchen, and used his daughter and others to carry out his crime.

The girl's father said that his accomplices in the crime, one of them is required to be executed in court rulings of imprisonment, and the other is the owner of a contracting company, who is required to be executed in 10 prison sentences, and others have a history of drug and rape cases.

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed the details of the accused’s execution of the crime, and said that the fiancée of the young man, the daughter of the first accused, had instructed her father to lure the victim on the pretext of hiking in the city of Rehab, and after that she took him to the apartment and upon his arrival, her father and the rest of the accused immobilized him, handcuffing his hands and feet, and then the first accused He strangled him until he died, after which he disposed of the body and the victim's belongings into a hole in the apartment's kitchen.

The ministry said that after the end of his crime, the girl's father spread sand on the corpse and hired workers to install ceramics in the cemetery, then disposed of the victim's phone by throwing it on the public road.
