Died one of the leading teachers of the Moscow Art Theater School Mikhail Lobanov

This is stated in a message on the page of the Moscow Art Theater School on Facebook.

“The Moscow Art Theater School-Studio sadly informs that after a long illness, Mikhail Andreevich Lobanov, one of the leading teachers of our institute, a legend of the Moscow Art School, passed away,” the message says.

Mikhail Lobanov is an Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Art Worker, laureate of the Oleg Tabakov Prize.

He taught at the Moscow Art Theater School since 1980.

Previously, Russian theater and film actor Vladimir Gorodnichev died at the age of 74.
