I am Zhang Su, the grassroots official of this issue. When I was 9 years old, I studied in Japan with my parents, and my experience was recorded in the documentary "Our Study Abroad Life".
More than 20 years later, I am now a journalist.
People-to-people exchanges have played an important role in the more than 2,000 years of exchanges between China and Japan.
Taking myself as an example, I have an indissoluble bond with Mr. Naoko Nakamura and Principal Masao Iwasaki.
And my personal experience is only a small fragment of Sino-Japanese people-to-people exchanges.
In recent years, the relationship between China and Japan has been ups and downs. In the face of uncertainties, I still think of what I said at the Japanese school assembly when I was 9 years old: Let us hold up the doves of peace and sing the song of peace.
