The "1.12" Water Permeation Accident Emergency Headquarters of Danba County reported that at about 13:40 that day, a water infiltration accident occurred in the Sancha River Guanzhou Power Plant in Zhanggu Town, Danba County.
The accident caused 11 maintenance personnel to be trapped, some buildings and vehicles around the power station were flooded, and the road at K1111+950 meters of National Highway 350 was broken.

After the accident, Sichuan Province, Ganzi Prefecture and Danba County immediately launched emergency plans. Emergency, public security, fire protection, medical and health, water conservancy, electric power, communications and other departments rushed to the scene to carry out rescue work as soon as possible, and invested more than 400 rescue forces. , 15 machines and equipment, 150 people were transferred and evacuated.
