According to Kagoshima Prefecture, there was a report on the 12th that there were many dead chickens at a poultry farm in Urasoko, Nagashima Town.



Upon receiving the report, the prefecture conducted a PCR test, and on the 13th, "H5 type" avian influenza virus was detected in all 13 birds tested.

This is the third case of bird flu this season at a poultry farm in the prefecture.
