For his part, Deputy Chairman of the Cultural and Heritage Festivals Programs and Programs Committee, Issa Saif Al Mazrouei, explained that the development of the festival after the expansion of the scope of the 15th session of the Al Dhafra Festival, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which included camel auctions in Sweihan, Razeen and Madinat Zayed In addition to the main auction at the Al Dhafra Festival, which was held in conjunction with the celebration of the fiftieth year, from October 28, 2021 to January 22, 2022 within the camel auction season in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Tracking a new mechanism based on points, which is the first of its kind in the camel auctions competitions, adding new runs to the camels auctions for the categories of Al-Asael and Al-Wadha hybrids, and attracting lovers of heritage competitions.

The Director of the Planning and Projects Department of the Committee, Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, explained that the festival includes many competitions and various heritage events, foremost of which is the camel parade, which will witness 82 rounds for the localities, the Mujahideen, the Asayel and Wadh hybrids, the Mahlab competition (six runs) for the localities and the Majaheem, and nine heritage competitions that celebrate the heritage of grandparents and fathers.
