Imprisonment of the Egyptian teacher accused of bullying Basant Khaled

The Kafr El-Zayat Prosecution Office in the Egyptian governorate of Gharbia has ordered the detention of the teacher accused of bullying the student, Basant Khaled, the victim of electronic extortion, for 4 days pending investigations, accusing him of bullying the victim inside the classroom, which led to her in a bad psychological state, which prompted her to take a toxic grain.

 The aforementioned teacher had faced accusations from the victim's brother, accusing her of bullying her, and he told her, "I'm in a trend number one more than Shaima's."

The security services were able to identify the suspect, and he was arrested and presented to the Public Prosecution today to start investigations.

 At the same time, the investigation authorities continue to hear the statements of 8 new defendants in that incident about the extent of their involvement in the case.

On the other hand, the Public Prosecution renewed the detention of 6 students in the case of the student Basant Khaled, the victim of electronic blackmail, for 15 days, pending investigations.

The investigation authorities had begun investigations with the defendants and charged them with blackmailing the victim and circulating pictures. They were imprisoned for 4 days pending investigations, and their detention was renewed today in the process of the case. The defendants confessed to committing the incident.
