On January 10, the Aksu-Alar Railway (referred to as the Arab-Arab Railway) was officially opened for operation.

The project officially started construction on April 29, 2020, with a total investment of 3.512 billion yuan.

  The Afghanistan-Afghanistan Railway is located in the Aksu area of ​​Xinjiang and the First Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. It is a railway crossing the Taklimakan Desert and the Gobi Oasis.

The line leads from the south end of the west side of Satma Station of the Southern Xinjiang Railway, and goes through Aksu City, Avati County, Seventh Regiment and Eighth Regiment to Aral City, with a total length of 114.566 kilometers. The railway class is National Railway Class II, and the design speed per hour 120 kilometers, the number of main lines is a single line.

After the railway is completed, it will end the history of Awati County and Alar City without the railway.
