From 0:00 on January 10, 2022, the national railways will implement a new train operation map, adding 96 pairs of passenger trains.

A total of 5,231 pairs of railway passenger trains have been operated across the country, and the train operating structure has been continuously optimized.

This map adjustment will adjust the transitional operation map used when the new railway lines are opened in December 2021 to the official operation map in the first quarter of 2022.

Among them, there are 28 pairs of mobile trains on the Kunming-Mohan section of the China-Laos Railway, 100 pairs of mobile trains on the Ganshen section of the Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway, 24 pairs of mobile trains on the Anjiu section of the Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway, and 24 pairs of mobile trains on the Zhangjihuai high-speed railway. There are 28 pairs of trains, 18 pairs of trains on the Mujia high-speed railway, 35 pairs of trains on the Hangzhou-Taiwan high-speed railway, and 23 pairs of trains on the Quzhuang section of the Rilan high-speed railway.

After the map adjustment, the transportation capacity of Yunnan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Shandong and other regions has been further improved.

Among them, 23 pairs of mobile trains were operated from Qufu to Heze to Zhuangzhai of China Railway Jinan Bureau Group Corporation, and the transportation capacity of southwestern Shandong and Shandong was further improved.

The running time from Heze East to Qiqihar South is 13 hours and 12 minutes shorter than the existing ordinary speed trains.

Ma Xiaochen, head of the Jinan Station on duty of China Railway Jinan Bureau Group Company: The new plan will change the 8 passenger temporary trains to and from Jinan, Beijing South, Shanghai and other directions to the planned peak line trains.

It effectively improves the passenger transportation capacity from Jinan to Beijing South and Shanghai during peak hours, realizes public transportation, and eases the density of passengers in the carriage.

The transportation capacity of high-speed rail from the central and eastern regions to Guangzhou and Shenzhen has been improved

This map adjustment makes full use of the newly added passenger capacity formed after the opening of the new railway line, and the inter-regional high-speed rail transportation capacity has been further improved, effectively shortening the space-time distance between the central and eastern regions and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen region.

The China National Railway Group took advantage of the new channel of the southern section of the Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway that was basically formed after the opening of the Anjiu and Ganshen high-speed railways, and took measures such as opening more trains and extending the section of existing trains to increase the number of cities in the central and eastern regions such as Nanchang, Hefei, Nanjing, Shanghai and so on. 48 pairs of EMU trains to the Guangzhou-Shenzhen area, 5 additional pairs of trains on the southern section of the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, of which 1 pair each from Shenzhen North to Zhengzhou East (Luoyang Longmen), Xuzhou East and Wuhan, Guangzhou South to Shangqiu and Zhangjiajie West An additional pair was opened, which further improved the high-speed rail transportation capacity from the central and eastern regions to the Guangzhou-Shenzhen region.

After the map adjustment, it can be reached from Nanchang West to Shenzhen North via the Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway at the fastest 3 hours and 30 minutes, which is 1 hour and 8 minutes faster than the existing Shanghai-Kunming and Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railways. It can be reached in 48 hours, which is 2 hours and 15 minutes faster than the existing He-Fu high-speed rail and Hangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed rail; Nanjing south via Ning’an, An-Jiu high-speed rail and Chang-Jiu intercity, Chang-Gan high-speed rail, and Gan-Shen high-speed rail to Shenzhen, the fastest It can be reached in 7 hours and 43 minutes, which is 3 hours and 07 minutes faster than the existing high-speed railways via Nanjing-Hangzhou, Hangchang, Hefu, Nanlong, Longzhang and Hangzhou-Shenzhen; Shanghai Hongqiao goes to Shenzhen via Shanghai-Kunming, Chang-Gan, and Ganshen high-speed railways. The fastest time is 6 hours and 50 minutes, which is 1 hour and 14 minutes faster than the existing Shanghai-Kunming and Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railways.

A number of affordable existing ordinary speed lines to add trains

After the map adjustment, there are 14 existing routes including Beijing to Harbin, Tangshan to Caofeidian, Qingdao to Yancheng, Handan to Jinan, Baotou to Lanzhou, Hohhot to Ordos, Xi'an to Ankang, Dazhou to Chengdu, Xingguo to Quanzhou, and Guangtong to Kunming. On the normal-speed line, 35 pairs of EMU trains were added.

Continue to open public welfare slow trains well, continue to promote the renovation of slow train equipment and facilities, and improve the level of serving people in remote mountainous areas.

  Intercity rail capacity increases

The total number of passenger cars on the Nanchang-Jiujiang intercity railway reached 116 pairs, an increase of 12 pairs compared with that before the adjustment.

The number of trains on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail EMU and the fixed EMU train on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen line has increased by 25.5 pairs compared with the current map.
