[Explanation] The three-day 8th Gulangyu Poetry Festival kicked off at the Gulangyu Concert Hall on the evening of January 7. Nearly 100 poets, scholars and artists "gathered" on Qindao through online and offline methods to sing a "New Poetry" with classical symphonies".

This garden-like island is full of literary heroes and prosperous poetry. Several Gulangyu people from different eras recreated the old style in the recitation of the party, which aroused the resonance of the audience on the poetry.

Actor Liu Changchun, who has participated in many film and television works such as "The Gate of the Mansion" and "Railway Guerrilla", led the recitation, and nearly 60 actors performed together.

The sounds of poetry, tides and waves are intertwined, and the Gulangyu Concert Hall is transformed into an immersive theater, bursting with dazzling poetic energy.

In addition to offline activities, this year's Poetry Festival also adopts the "real-time online" method to hold original poetry and music performance evenings, poetry academic seminars and "Xiamen Poetry Geography", and will also link a number of institutions of higher learning and global netizens. At the same time, the Cloud Poetry Festival will be launched.
