Sun Peichun said that on December 17, 2021, Henan Provincial People's Hospital formed the fifth batch of treatment teams with 166 medical personnel stationed in designated hospitals to undertake the medical treatment of patients with new coronary pneumonia.
After the outbreak of the epidemic on December 31, the Henan Provincial People's Hospital dispatched 89 additional medical staff and 8 TCM experts from the Henan Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Institution to further leverage the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine.
At the same time, in order to effectively strengthen the prevention and control of hospital infection and ensure "zero infection" of medical staff, a total of 15 hospital infection prevention and control experts were dispatched to participate in the prevention and control of hospital infection in designated hospitals.
Up to now, 278 provincial hospital medical staff have participated in the treatment of patients in this round of the epidemic.
