The Luxor African Film Festival, in its 11th session, which will be held from the 4th to the 10th of March in 2022, will release a book entitled "10 Women in One", which deals with the life of the late Egyptian star Hoda Sultan.

The festival administration decided, in a press statement yesterday, to dedicate the next session to the spirit of three of the late great African artists, the late great star Mahmoud Morsi, who had a genius performance and a cinematic career rich with distinguished works, the late great director Mohamed Ismail, the pioneer of Moroccan cinema, and the late Egyptian star Hoda Sultan She is the owner of a legendary and unique acting and singing performance and a long journey in cinema, theater, television and radio. On this occasion, the festival will publish a book entitled “10 Women in One” written by the great critic Kamal Ramzy.

According to the statement, the festival will publish another book about the great star Hussein Fahmy, who will be awarded the Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award, written by critic Ahmed Shawky.

The festival will also publish a book about the great director and expert in African cinema, Farid Boughedir, which deals with his distinguished journey and his most important works, and another book about the bearer of the title of the session, the late Senegalese director Diop Mambetti, in French and Arabic, written by Senegalese critic Djibril Sagna.

He also publishes a book about the late great director Shadi Abdel Salam, written by Dr. Mervat Kamouni, and translated into Arabic by Tunisian director Mahmoud Jimni.

Within the framework of the festival's slogan about the rediscovery of Egypt, the festival issues a book with the same name for a group of writers in both Arabic and English, in addition to other publications, pamphlets and special files on everything related to the 11th session.
