, the chain of restaurants specializing in fried chicken will sell “fake chicken” as of next Monday,

.
"As it is January, it is the time for good resolutions and to want to do something different for your diet," explained Kevin Hochman, president of the American branch.
This new product, made with Beyond Meat and supposed to look like chicken, will be made entirely from vegetable proteins.
“It's really about where consumers want to go.
They want to eat more vegetable protein, ”he added.
