It is reported that after the earthquake, in accordance with the "Overall Emergency Response Plan for Emergencies in Qinghai Province" and "Earthquake Emergency Response Plan in Qinghai Province", the Qinghai Provincial Emergency Response Committee launched a Level II emergency response to major earthquake disasters at 1:50 on January 8.
