Miyazaki Prefecture has announced that four of the patients who have been found to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture have been confirmed to be infected with the Omicron strain.
This is the first time that infection with Omicron strain has been confirmed in the prefecture.
He also revealed that the other five people were also highly suspected of being infected with the Omicron strain.
