A Gulf artist performs Umrah on behalf of his colleague imprisoned in a drug case

Kuwaiti artist Abdullah Boushahri revealed that he performed Umrah on behalf of his compatriot and fellow artist Ali Kakoli, who is imprisoned in connection with the case of "abuse and possession of narcotic substances".

Boushahri published a video clip on his account on the "Snapchat" website, in which he confirmed that he "has completed his Umrah on his behalf and that he will perform Umrah again on behalf of a person dear to him on behalf of him."

Although Boushahri did not say this directly, close sources revealed to a number of websites that the close person is the imprisoned artist Ali Kakoli.

Boushahri published a clip in front of the Kaaba, accompanied by a prayer of relief by the artist Ali Kakoli, in which he said: "Oh, Faraj, worry, and the detector of grief, Faraj, they are Ali Kakoli, and reveal him the grief."

The artist, Kakoli, has been in prison for months, after being convicted of a drug case in which an inconclusive ruling was issued last November, where the Court of Appeal sentenced him to 3 years and 4 months in prison, with labor and enforcement, and a fine of about $10,000.
