A choir from Kitakyushu City, whose members are all over 80 years old, gathered in the city under the guise of pedestrians and challenged a performance called "flash mob" that suddenly started singing.

The challenge to "flash mob" was "Chorus Kitakyushu from the age of 80".

Due to the influence of the new corona, I was forced to suspend activities until June last year, but on the 6th, I created a place to show off my singing voice in public for the first time after resuming it in the form of a flash mob.

Approximately 50 members disguised as passers-by gathered in front of the ticket gate at JR Tobata Station and started singing one after another at the beginning of the instructor's singing.

The timing of singing and gathering was earlier than planned, but the members performed four nursery rhymes such as "snow" and "hometown", and some people stopped and listened at the station. I did.

A man in his twenties who heard the chorus said, "I was impressed. I was energized."

Koichi Tsunemitsu, the representative of the chorus, said, "It's a little different from what I wanted to do, but I'm glad I enjoyed singing. I want to try again."
