  Goose-throated gazelle is a typical animal that lives in desert and semi-desert areas. It looks like a yellow sheep. Because the male antelope has a hypertrophy of the throat during estrus, it looks like a goose-throated throat, so it is named "Goose-throated Gazelle."

Inhabits dry and inhospitable deserts and semi-desert areas between 300-6000 meters above sea level.

The altitude of Huola Mountain in Yanqi County is 1122-3647 meters. The mountain area is composed of many high mountains and canyons. The spring water in the ditch flows throughout the seasons, which provides a natural ecological environment for the reproduction of goose-throated gazelle.
