The reporter learned from the People's Government of Shuncheng District, Fushun City that at 16:44 on January 4, 2022, a deflagration occurred in Room 303, Building 40-2, Huinan Road, Jiangjunbao Street, Shuncheng District, Fushun City. The scene was at 17:20 on the same day. The open flame was extinguished. The fire area was about 40 square meters, and one person died.
Fire and gas experts conducted on-site inspections to rule out explosions caused by gas leakage.
After investigation by the public security organs, this incident was caused by the deceased Xu (an online fugitive) who committed suicide by deliberately releasing gas. After Xu was injured at the scene of the deflagration, he jumped from a window and fell to his death.
At present, the residents of the community affected by the incident are emotionally stable, and the repair and replacement of damaged doors and windows is accelerating, and normal production and life have been restored.
