Before the full-scale examination season, a memorial service for passing prayers was held at Shitennoji Temple in Osaka, and students and others prayed for passing through the "disentanglement puzzle" made of straw.

The memorial service for passing prayers was held at the "Former Three Daishido" in Ganzandaishido, Tennoji-ku, Osaka.

It is said that worshiping has the benefit of gaining wisdom and improving memory, and at the beginning of 10 am, examinees and parents came to pray for passing the exam and achieving academic achievement.

Then, after lining up in two rows and passing through a "ring of wisdom" made of straw with a diameter of about 2.2 meters, I received a "giving" from a monk.

Continuing from last year, a live broadcast of the memorial service was also held as a measure to prevent infection with the new coronavirus.

A third-year junior high school girl in Chuo-ku, Osaka, who is preparing to take the high school exam next month, said, "I want to study hard until the end and definitely pass."

Also this month, a 6th grade elementary school girl in Abeno Ward, Osaka, who is going to take the entrance exam for junior high school, said, "I'm nervous because the entrance exam is approaching, but I think I've gained strength by visiting, so I'd like to do my best."
