The Nanjing City Wall Museum exhibits more than 2500 pieces (sets) of various fine cultural relics from five aspects including design ideas, fort The dimensions show the heavy cultural connotation of Nanjing's city wall.

  Our museum has collected more than 2,500 cultural relics. In addition to the city bricks we see now, there are some war weapons such as hand guns and Francis machines. In the design concept of the entire museum, we take the design background of the city wall, The defensive measures of the city wall are placed in the exhibition column of our museum.

The Nanjing City Wall Museum echoes the Zhonghua Gate (castle) on the opposite side. It adopts a three-stage reverse-climbing horse path design, which symbolizes the success of horses.

In the "Kuangshi City Wall" exhibition hall, a matrix of rows of city bricks composed of more than 700 Mingcheng bricks is covered with four walls.

  Our current location is the online celebrity check-in point of the Nanjing City Wall Museum-the city brick matrix, where we exhibited more than 700 very representative city bricks, including city bricks made in various provinces (at the time). The city bricks of different calligraphy, as well as the city bricks made by different departments.

  【Explanation】Look carefully, there are inscriptions on every brick.

"The first year of Hongwu", "Tidian", "Zongjia", "Shoujia" and "Kinker"... These inscriptions have also become the first-hand information for understanding the burning situation of the city bricks, which can be interpreted and read. In accordance with the strictest responsibility system, the names of the place of production, the unit, the person in charge of the firing project, and the potter must all be engraved on the bricks in order to be documented.

  The "Fu Donghai" and "Shou Nan Mountain" we see now are a metaphor for the auspicious meaning of Furu Donghai and Shoubi Nanshan, as well as the brick-maker "Andy Lau" that we see here. He and our "four heavenly kings" "Andy Lau has the same name. If there is a chance, we hope Andy Lau can come here to take a look. The Ming Dynasty brick builder who had the same name as him more than 650 years ago.

  The brick kiln we are seeing now was transported from Lichuan, Jiangxi. The entire brick kiln is an oval shaped like a big steamed bun, so we call it a steamed bun kiln. This Lichuan brick kiln in Jiangxi was a brick kiln in the early Ming Dynasty when bricks were made. representative.

At that time, there were countless such brick kilns, large and small, most of them were near the water.
