Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 1st that it was confirmed that 235 new people were infected with the new corona from the US military.
This is the highest number of people infected with the US military related to Okinawa per day.
It is not known at which base the infection was confirmed.
It was announced that 98 people had been confirmed to be infected on the 31st, and Okinawa Prefecture is calling on base employees who have the opportunity to come into contact with US military personnel to be actively inspected.
