A strange game that baffles Internet users and causes a feeling of "vertigo and headache"

An astonishing optical illusion has attracted Internet users from all over the world after it has gone viral on social media because of its dizzying lines.

And genomics researcher Laurel Koons shared the strange visual puzzle, which looks like a granite block decorated with several thin green lines that seem to divide the block into small squares.

While at first glance it appears that there are many curved lines, the moment one tries to focus on one and try to locate it, it appears to turn into a straight line.

Koons launched a challenge to the audience to determine where the curved lines lie between the straight lines.

And this optical illusion quickly spread on social media after leaving users confused about the picture, as the task seemed difficult for many, noting that looking at it makes them feel dizzy and headache, and that it creates confusion in the brain, and others said that staring at the lines “hurts.” their eyes."

Scientists previously explained that an optical illusion occurs when the brain guesses what is happening in an image and you are staring at only one part of it.

Regarding the illusion that emerged about a month ago, Derek Arnold, a vision expert at the University of Queensland, said such puzzles are likely to scare people. However, this did not stop users from putting forward their theories about the mystery behind this image.

And one theory says: “I think the reason for this is that the patterns are placed and arranged in a circular way,” according to “Russia Today.”

Another theory added: "The white squares kind of form lines, but we can only see those lines when they are blurry."
