Shiga Prefecture announced on the 31st that it was confirmed that 13 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It is the first time in about two and a half months that the number of people confirmed to be infected in a day in the prefecture is more than 10 since 14 people on October 5th.
This brings the total number of people confirmed to be infected in Shiga Prefecture to 12,507.
On the other hand, there were no announcements of people who died of infection.
