He kills his son because of drugs... and the family claims that he committed suicide

Preliminary investigations into the case of a father being accused of murder in the Talbeya area of Giza Governorate, Egypt, revealed that the son used to abuse narcotics, and his father assaulted him because he was forced to quit drugs, and he died during the assault.

Initial investigations indicated that a family in the Talbiya area resorted to a ploy to hide the murder of a father to his son, as they claimed that he committed suicide due to addiction, but the Giza Investigation revealed the incident and arrested the accused father.

The investigation authorities ordered the assignment of forensic medicine to autopsy the body and reveal the cause of death. The security services also rushed to the investigations to uncover the circumstances and details of the incident.

The details of the incident came back when the security services in Giza received a notification from Al-Haram Hospital that an electrician, 26, had a dead body and had a stab wound to the thigh.

Investigations indicated that the officers and doctors were criminally suspicious of the young man’s death. Examination of the body revealed apparent injuries and bruises.

The research teams discussed the family of the young man who claimed that he committed suicide because of addiction. His father, a 54-year-old "ceramic tile", and his mother, a 51-year-old "housewife," confirmed that their son committed suicide because of his addiction to heroin.

Because the family's story was not plausible, the detective officers continued the process of searching and investigating and discussing a number of neighbors who decided that they heard the sounds of a violent fight from the victim's house before his family left with him, carrying him to the hospital bleeding blood.

The research team discussed the family again, and his father admitted that they quarreled and that he hit him with a knife, so he was rushed to the hospital in an attempt to save him, but he died.

The body was kept in the hospital mortuary, and the accused father was arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution to complete investigations.
