Don't forget the lyrics
, the TV games have again delivered a slew of winners in 2021.
There are divine surprises, like Mohamed in
Top Chef
, and flops like
The Artist
, on France 2, or Koh-Lanta, on TF1.
Between records and disappointments,
20 Minutes
takes stock of the TV victories of 2021.
She is only 16 years old and she is the youngest winner in the history of the

In tears, Maud closed Thursday evening, with a cake made from macaroons, the grand parade of the winners of the game show of the year 2021. With two winners of
The Voice
(between the real
The Voice
and the
All Stars
anniversary
edition
but no

version
) and Claude's non-victory at Koh-Lanta, this year will have been rich in emotions.
20 Minutes looks
back on the year's major victories on TV.
Marghe and Anne Sila offer two new victories to Florent Pagny in
The Voice
This year again, it was unplayable. The historic coach of
The Voice
brought not one but two singers to the final victory in 2021. At the beginning of the year, it was the Poitou Marghe that Florent Pagny accompanied to a surprise victory. At first shy and uncomfortable with her voice, Marghe knew how to reveal herself by blindly following the advice of her coach who asked her to rely as much as possible on her powerful voice and her charm. And it hit the mark.
Six months later, Florent Pagny did not hesitate to take in his
All Stars team
, Anne Sila, for the anniversary edition of
The Voice
.
This time the coach had less work.
The singer was one of the favorites and knew very well how she wanted to win.
The one who had missed the victory by a hair in her first participation is now an assertive artist and sure of her strength.
Mohamed, the victory of good humor (and the twist)
He is the one who best knew how to “twist” his dishes in 2021. The
Top Chef
of the year won over the nose and beard of most of the favorites of the season, and against Sarah, another surprise finalist .
The candidate of Hélène Darroze's team was also a magnificent TV candidate, through the history of his passion and his success, not always strewn with rose petals.
His victory in the snatch but always in a good mood and good spirit will have been one of the joyful moments, and devoid of controversy, of this TV season.
Who knows who won
The Artist
?
Anybody.
And that's a shame.
Nagui's telecrochet made a resounding flop on France 2. Very awkwardly broadcast live in front of
The Voice
,
The Artist
was no match for his concept, certainly daring, but jaw-dropping.
In the end, the artists on the show no doubt learned a lot about the trade but undoubtedly deserved better exposure.
After a change of box, forever fewer audiences but also less losses for France 2,
The Artist
may have escaped.
A second season, more humble and not live, is under consideration.
Beijing Express
wins the most difficult filming award
Claire and Christophe won the 2021 edition of the M6 game.
But frankly, the film crews and those responsible for the logistics of the program also deserve our applause.
This season has been marked by many twists and turns linked to sanitary conditions.
The shooting of the game was cut in two by the Covid epidemic on the planet.
The candidates also had to adapt with a return to the Home box in the middle of the adventure, then a new departure to a mystery country.
And there, the pandemic has, of course, complicated things.
In the end, Claire and Christophe are the winners of an edition that will remain - we hope - unique in its kind.
France has talents that it continues to ignore
Last year, the Lefèvre family, and this year, the Saint-Cyr choir.
So, yes, these are two great victories for the Yvelines (represent!), But it is also a certain idea of France (very white, very Catholic, very wise) that
France has an incredible talent
has crowned two years of suite, on M6.
Too bad, because the cast of this show was more varied and exciting than these bland choirs.
We want as proof, the return of Miss Dominique, revealed on the same channel, in the second season of
Nouvelle Star
.
The show also had its share of candidates with improbable talents (hello Bridget) who make all the salt of the program
Records in shambles
World football champion and Olympic volleyball champion, France is also on top of the world when it comes to TV games.

Lies and betrayals in Polynesia
How to conclude this anthology of victories on television in 2021 without addressing the
Koh-Lanta
disaster
. For the 20 years edition, which brought together emblematic candidates of the program, no winner was chosen. The fault of repeated cheating which involves, in particular, the two finalists of
Koh-Lanta
.
Beyond this missed finale, the show left its most ardent fans hungry (ha!) With a flavorless season.
The "heroes" were disappointed with their behavior and the mechanics of the game suffered from being too predictable.
By dint of betting on nostalgia for iconic events,
Koh-Lanta
has not been able to renew itself.
Fortunately, next year, a new generation of candidates arrives.
We can't wait to write the portrait of the winner of this 2022 edition. And of all the others.
