Betty White died at her home on Friday morning local time.

During her career, Betty White has done over a hundred roles, including in "The 70's show", "Boston Legal" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show".

She had the biggest impact for her role as Rose Nylund in "The Golden Girls", in Swedish "Pantertanter".

The series, which revolves around a group of elderly women living together in Miami, aired between 1985 and 1992.

The 99-year-old has been praised several times during her career, she has received Emmys and a Grammy and has been nominated several times for the Golden Globe.

She would have turned 100 on January 17.
