[Explanation] Tibetan musician Peng Mao Danzeng has been deeply involved in guitar for decades. He is proficient in various styles and genres of guitar. He was responsible for the guitar recording of the movie "Wandering Earth". His students have won many awards in international guitar competitions.
Peng Maodan is now committed to innovating Tibetan traditional folk music, combining Tibetan strings with classical guitars and flamenco guitars, giving Tibetan traditional folk music more new elements and connotations with new expressions.
[Explanation] Earlier, Peng Mao Danzeng had been studying electric guitars and was obsessed with studying various modern guitar styles.
I accidentally recorded a song "Akbanma" with a friend, which was widely acclaimed after being uploaded to the online video platform.
Peng Mao Danzeng said frankly that the exquisite technique can only achieve "likeness", and only by truly understanding the national culture can the music as a whole become more "likeness".

I feel that playing (ethnic music) by myself is more natural and more charming than playing Western blues and jazz.
After all (ethnic music) comes from the backbone of one's own nation.
[Explanation] Tibetan traditional music has a long history and diverse forms, while the delicate and changeable tone of classical guitars, rich multi-part harmony performance ability, can freely interpret the music of different periods, different styles, and different nationalities.
The organic combination of the two not only adds new ideas to the tradition, but also makes it more possible to express the form of national music.

In 2018, I made an album at my own expense, mainly based on Western music and a fusion (style) of our Tibetan music.
It is an album of ethnic integration in the style of the new century.
After trying it, how do I feel? It is a kind of music that purifies the soul very, very much, and can calm people down.
Later, I tried Western string music together, (including some) Western harmonic instruments, and then added this Tibetan melody.
[Explanation] The diversity of modern music culture and music forms adds new nourishment to the creation of national music.
In recent years, many musicians of different genres have adapted and created traditional folk music to varying degrees. Although the audience has received mixed reviews, they are all explorations and practices in which folk music can be inherited and spread to the world.

The first is that you can't forget your roots.
What is this root is to pass on the very good music treasures and music culture that these ancestors have left us for generations.
These must be passed down.
On this basis, we will use modern music and world music to blend together, and then make (music) out.

[Explanation] As a guitar teacher, Peng Mao Danzeng hopes that children who learn music can comprehend the charm of traditional Tibetan music and at the same time be able to innovate on the road in the future.
