Does donating blood forbid marriage like breastfeeding.. a scientist answers

The former Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Ali Gomaa, responded to a question that reads: My neighbor’s son fell seriously ill while he was a baby who was not yet a year old, which necessitated a blood transfusion for him, so I donated blood to him due to the agreement of the two species. Is this my donation one of the things that forbid marriage, such as breastfeeding?

Juma'a said, during a video on his official account on the social networking site Facebook, that donating blood does not prohibit marriage, because the prohibition of breastfeeding is a divine order from God - the Almighty -, and it is not measured by the length of ten years, education, transferred blood, and the like.

The former Mufti of the Republic emphasized that there is no relationship between any of these reasons and the prohibition of marriage, because the pillar of lineage is the pillar of breastfeeding, and even saying that it is forbidden from breastfeeding is what is forbidden from lineage, is a divine issue.

Ali Gomaa concluded that the blood transfusion does not affect the annulment of the marriage, but that the donor is rewarded for having saved the life of this child.

In another context, Dr. Ali Gomaa called for treating others with kindness and affection, listening to them and appreciating their point of view, and his call included men and women, the rich and the poor, even humans and animals.

The head of the religious committee in the House of Representatives added that treating the other has many benefits in society, pointing out that one of the most important of these is the spread of good morals among people, such as ease, forgiveness, tolerance and fluency in the face, adding that it also increases love and intimacy among members of society.

He also pointed out that there is good treatment with people, which is what earns a person the confidence of others in him and his confidence in himself, and this axis comes under the meaning of his saying, peace be upon him: “None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

Dr. Ali Gomaa also referred to the axis of good treatment with women, pointing out that it is she who expresses the sophistication of the religion of Islam and the universality of its message, and it is what comes under the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: “And be kind to women.”
