The presenter Ana García Obregón has tested positive for
coronavirus
and will not be able to give the Chimes on TVE, together with Anne Igartiburu as initially planned, as confirmed by RTVE this Wednesday.
The public Corporation has reported that, instead,
Jacob Petrus will
present this December 31 the Chimes that close the year and welcome 2022. This will be the 17th consecutive broadcast of Anne Igartiburu, while the presenter of 'Aqui la land 'debuts in this work.
An hour later,
Nieves Álvarez and Roberto Herrera
will take over from the Canary Islands, specifically from the island of La Palma.
This year, on the occasion of the volcanic eruption, there will be the solidarity bells 'RTVE We are all La Palma'.
Nieves Álvarez will debut alongside Roberto Herrera, who celebrates his twentieth anniversary in the broadcast.
