Yamdrok Lake means "jasper lake" in Tibetan, and it is called the three "holy lakes" in Tibet along with Nam Co and Manpang Yumco.

The Yamdrok Lake is 4,441 meters above sea level, 130 kilometers long from east to west, 70 kilometers wide from north to south, and the lake shoreline is more than 250 kilometers long.

On the 28th, a reporter from China News Service drove to the Yamdrok Lake and crossed the mountain pass to reach the Suncare Temple on the northeast side of the lake. Along the way is the beauty of winter plateau lakes and mountains. Under the drone aerial camera, snow-capped mountains and glaciers stand tall in the distance. It is beautiful.
