Japan's 72-year-old grandmother Sawa Chiyomi loves fitness and has won the World Supine Press Championship 19 times in a row.

Recently, she is actively training, preparing to aspire to the 20th championship.

Sawa Chiyomi participated in the World Supine Press Championship in October 2021, lifting 100 kg and winning the championship in the 69-76 kg group.

Sawa Chiyomi was overweight when he was 50 years old and began to work out.

Once when she lifted dumbbells, a male coach asked her if she would like to practice bench press, so she tried to lift the barbell, lifting 50 kg for the first time, showing her talent for this sport and started training.

A few years later, she began to participate in international competitions in this sport.

Supine press is a powerlifting sport. During the competition, players lie on their backs on the bench press and lift the barbell above the body.
