The Festival of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for camel racing and camel auctions crowned the winners of the camel auction for the local category, within four rounds, for which 40 valuable prizes were allocated, amid distinguished participations from camel owners in the UAE and the Gulf countries.
The announcement of the results was attended by Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Director of Planning and Projects at the Festivals and Cultural Programs Management Committee in Abu Dhabi, and a number of senior camel owners in the UAE and the Gulf states.
The results of the auction in the Haqaiq Sharaya series for the sons of the tribes resulted in the victory of “Bint Soghan”, for its owner Ali Khamis Muhammad Al-Shadi Al-Mansoori, in the first place, while “Al Dhafra” came in second place, for its owner Salem Muhammad Abdullah Buawana Al-Mansoori, and in the third place, “Shawahin”, for its owner Hussein Salem Hussein Shuail Al-Hajri, and the fourth place “Punishment” owned by its owner Safar Ghanem Nasser Al-Hajri, and in the fifth place “Shawaheen” owned by Saleh Muhammad Saeed Muhammad Al-Amri.
In the course of Haqaiq, a local community of tribesmen, “Mayassa” won the first place by its owner Ali Muhammad Ali Murshid Al-Marar, while “Al-Ghazel” came in second place, owned by Ahmed Ibrahim Khalil Saif Al-Qubaisi, and “Fayel” came in third place by its owner Ali Salem Obaid Hayay Al-Mansouri, and the Center The fourth “Al-Dayer” is owned by its owner Abdulaziz Muhammad Ayed Ali Al-Qahtani, and in the fifth place is “Al-Shahiniyah” by its owner Mubarak Abdullah Muhammad Mubarak Al-Rushdi.
