On December 25, local time, a suicide bombing occurred in the city of Beni, North Kivu, in the northeastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
A suicide attacker detonated a bomb at the entrance of a bar in central Beni, killing at least 6 people, including the attacker, and injuring 13 others.
After the explosion, the municipal government of Beni requested the people to return to their homes immediately and not to go out through radio broadcasts.
At present, no organization or individual has claimed to have made this bomb attack.
